Architect-led cabinetry with a family soul.
UMPA Millwork is a custom cabinetry and architectural millwork studio grounded in architectural training, construction rigor, and a genuine love for design. Founded by husband-and-wife team Bianca and Dustin Bush, we’re here to build cabinetry that isn’t just beautiful—it’s deeply considered and made to fit real lives.
Why “Umpa”?
Our name comes from Umpa Lumpa, our beloved family pit bull—full of energy, wildly stubborn, and always unforgettable. We raised him from birth, and he left a permanent mark on our family when he passed away. Naming our company after Umpa is our way of keeping his spirit alive— tenacious, soulful, and full of personality.
We treat our clients like family, too. That means thoughtful conversations, clear expectations, and cabinetry that reflects how you actually live.
Why We Started
UMPA Millwork began in 2023, after years of working on high-end residential projects where good millwork was hard to find. Most trades were either working volume-based prefab or focused only on mega-budget homes. We were in the middle—and no one quite fit.
We created UMPA to fill that gap. Our mission: bring the precision of architecture to the craft of cabinetry, serving homes from $2M to $20M with the respect, skill, and care they deserve.
Our Evolution
KINK began as a way to design stories into space—through drawings, renderings, and architecture that held meaning.
That vision took shape in the real world through KINK Construction, where we brought those stories to life, one build at a time.
UMPA Millwork is not a departure, but a deeper focus—on the parts of a home people touch every day. The cabinetry. The custom woodwork. The pieces that quietly hold routines, memories, and the rhythm of daily life.
KINK still lives. We believe nothing truly ends—only shifts, deepens, evolves.
UMPA is that evolution.
Not a pivot. A return to essence.
From concept to craft. From story to soul.
We didn’t shrink. We zoomed in.
